Our Team

Physiotherapists at All Care Physiotherapy have graduated with an undergraduate and or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and have a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries (sports, spinal and orthopaedics) and their management. All of the All Care Physiotherapists work closely together to achieve the best outcome for their clients.

    Director

Patrick has well over 25 years experience as a Physiotherapist. He graduated in 1987 and spent one year developing his skills as a new graduate Physiotherapist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He then spent the next 2 years working in private practice in Hobart, Tasmania and then Brisbane where he worked with many sporting teams including the Brisbane Broncos. Patrick then undertook a post graduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Adelaide in 1991/2 and followed this by working in private practice in Adelaide. In 1994, he returned to Brisbane to set up his private practice.

In this time Patrick has worked with Brisbane’s leading Orthopaedic Surgeons at the Brisbane Private Hospital as well as many sporting teams including the Queensland Reds under 21 and Queensland B Rugby Union teams, Norths Rugby Union, and Queensland Netball under 19’s and 21’s. Patrick has been involved professionally with the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a past President of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy group (Queensland Branch).
He enjoys treating all injuries but has special skill in neck, back and pelvic joint pain.

    Brandon Bunn

    Physiotherapist

    Brandon graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013.
    At an early age, Brandon was introduced to elite level rugby league. This initial exposure generated his interest in physiotherapy. Throughout his degree, Brandon was fortunate enough to observe and work with elite level athletes, including the Brisbane Broncos Toyota Cup team.
    Brandon remains a fan of the NRL as well as an avid English Premier League supporter.
    During his practical year Brandon gained invaluable experience while working within Brisbane hospitals, particularly the musculoskeletal and paediatric fields. Through his placements, Brandon discovered his passion for achieving positive results using a holistic and hands-on approach.
    Brandon has a special interest in the treatment of:
    • Return to work/sport rehabilitation
    • Musculoskeletal dysfunction
    • Injury prevention
    • Olympic Lifting
    Brandon aims to achieve optimal outcomes for all of his patients’ conditions. He is on a continual quest to broaden his treatment approach by participating in further education, and has already completed dry needling and muscle energy training. Brandon is looking forward to his new career as a physiotherapist while continuing to improve his skills to become an expert within the industry.

    • Shahrooz

      Shahrooz Rafiei

      Physiotherapist

      Shahrooz has a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland. He also has a Bachelor of Business, having worked in the Finance industry prior to pursuing a career in Physiotherapy. Whilst studying, Shahrooz gained experience working for football teams such as UQFC. Shahrooz enjoys treating all conditions but has a keen interest in back and lower limb injuries. He is passionate about helping patients become pain free and allowing them to self-manage their condition. He provides treatment at our hospital practice at the Brisbane Private Hospital as well as our rooms on Wickham Tce.

    Karlie Valentine

    Physiotherapist

    Karlie has over 16 years experience as a physiotherapist graduating from the University of Qld in 1999. Throughout this time she has worked in hospital, private practice and aged care settings and has previously owned her own successful physiotherapy clinic in Taringa, Brisbane.

    Karlie has a long history in elite level sport playing at the sports highest junior levels in both netball and waterpolo and spent 12 months at the AIS is Canberra on scholarship. This involvement in sport is what sparked her initial interest in a physiotherapy career. She has also worked with sporting teams as a clinician including Qld netball U17, U19 and Firechicks teams and UQ Rugby Union.

    Karlie has extensive experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in headaches and neck pain, SIJ dysfunction, dry needling and pilates.

    She is passionate about providing client-focused hands on therapy and getting clients pain free as soon as possible and educating them to allow long term results.

    Karlie now works part time due to juggling her physiotherapy duties with looking after a busy family with 3 children.

      Caitlin Nock

      Physiotherapist

      Caitlin is the newest member of our team. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries including spinal pain, sports injuries and orthopaedics as well as pilates. She mainly will work in our hospital based practice at the Brisbane Private Hospital but will be running pilates classes as well.
